Mommy Jehza Huelar: “Every day comes a new learning and I am happy to be a student.”
Former 2018 Binibining Pilipinas-Supranational title holder Jehza Huelar is adapting quickly to her new life as a first-time mom.
Jehza, who tied the knot with former Philippine Basketball Association cager Peter June Simon in May 2019, welcomed their baby boy, Peter Jeidon, on March 1, 2021.
In a recent Instagram post, Mommy Jehza told her followers that motherhood is a life changing experience for her.
She explained, “Selflessness and patience ~ #Motherhood, a teacher that is teaching me so many good things, even when it feels so hard to endure. Every day comes a new learning and I am happy to be a student in this journey. Motherhood is a life changer. Every. Single. Day. And I love the person I'm becoming.”
Back in June 2020, the Simon couple had to overcome some pretty difficult moments, after Jehza suffered a miscarriage.
Last week, Jehza marked her first birthday as a mom and was given a special surprise by her wonderful husband.
She considers her birthday this year as the best one so far.
